Beaufort United History
Beaufort Utd was founded in 1969 by the late Dennis Flowers of Beaufort Engineering.
Since 1971 the club has been funded by the efforts of the committee, parents, players etc. Our late President Dennis Freeman was the first team manager, and played an active part in the running of our club up until his untimely death..
Over the years several players have gone on to play for league clubs.
Currently playing in the football league who have played for Beaufort are Darryl Clarke, Rob Kozluk
and James Walker.
The club gained the Chartered Standard Award from the FA in 2003.
In 2005, Beaufort United FC developed further by encouraging girls to join and the first Beaufort United Girls team entered the Notts Girls and Ladies league.
With the Academy, Beaufort Utd continues to grow and is one of the biggest clubs in the area.
